Business Analyst, Market Risk — Remote in Peru

Join Talan as a Business Analyst focused on market risk, translating complex requirements into practical solutions. Partner remotely with U.S.-based stakeholders and development teams.

Description

  • Collect, assess, and document business and functional requirements
  • Partner with U.S.-based business stakeholders to clarify objectives and priorities
  • Convert business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories
  • Shape, refine, and prioritize work for development teams
  • Guide technical teams during delivery by clarifying functional requirements
  • Assess completed solutions against agreed business needs and specifications
  • Track requirements throughout delivery and address functional questions or issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support delivery and business alignment

Requirements

  • At least four years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable functional analysis position
  • Strong understanding of Market Risk concepts, processes, and associated financial products
  • Hands-on experience with Value at Risk (VaR) and Stress Testing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, structure, and define complex business requirements
  • Experience partnering with software development teams in Agile or traditional project settings
  • Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency, at least B2
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders based in the United States
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination abilities
  • Analytical approach with the ability to turn business needs into actionable development requirements
