Description
- Lead the engineering leadership team in improving software delivery culture and strategy
- Continue writing production code and building products within an engineering pod
- Coach and mentor engineers while helping establish clearer career paths
- Partner with the CTO and engineering leaders on technical architecture and key decisions
- Recruit and develop high-performing engineers as the team expands
- Promote AI-assisted engineering grounded in strong technical fundamentals
- Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver solutions for clients
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience with a demonstrated record of leading engineering teams
- Current hands-on technical experience writing production code
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineers
- Broad full-stack technical knowledge with deep expertise in at least one area
- Strong capabilities in system design and software architecture
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level
- Experience with AI coding tools and a considered perspective on their impact on team workflows
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS company is desirable
- Experience developing products for enterprise customers, preferably in regulated industries, is desirable
- Experience creating career frameworks or engineering levels is desirable
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams is desirable
