Senior Embedded Software Technical Leader – Automotive, Barcelona

Technical leadership for automotive embedded software at Capgemini Engineering in Barcelona. Coordinate teams, releases, traceability, and compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.

Description

  • Lead and technically coordinate embedded software development teams
  • Plan, track, and coordinate software releases
  • Oversee software development and adherence to technical requirements
  • Manage and monitor code repositories
  • Maintain traceability across requirements, development, and validation
  • Coordinate with other engineering functions and support production activities
  • Participate in and support software audits
  • Monitor compliance with automotive processes and industry standards

Requirements

  • Five to seven years of embedded software development experience, including work in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience as a Technical Leader, Software Leader, Senior Embedded Software Engineer, or in a comparable role
  • Strong C and C++ development experience
  • Experience working with 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR architectures
  • Experience with CAN and LIN communication protocols
  • Knowledge of SPI and I2C
  • Experience working with state machines
  • Knowledge of Simulink and Stateflow, including automatic code generation
  • Experience with CANoe, Git or SVN, Jira, and DOORS
  • Knowledge of continuous integration using Jenkins or CI
  • Experience with Polyspace, QAC, and Tessy
  • B2 to C1 English proficiency
  • Experience with or knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
  • Experience with or knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety
  • Experience with or knowledge of ISO 21434 cybersecurity
