Description

  • Collect, clean, and verify data from diverse sources
  • Examine complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and meaningful insights
  • Build interactive Kibana dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Use visual design and accessibility standards to improve dashboard usability
  • Turn analytical findings into practical recommendations and communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work with stakeholders to clarify business objectives, operational issues, and data needs
  • Improve and support data transformation pipelines
  • Create and maintain self-service analytics tools and reusable data resources
  • Record data models, business rules, transformation methods, and analytics procedures
  • Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver connected data solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field, plus 8 or more years of relevant experience
  • Relevant additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Ability to complete and retain additional customer suitability screenings during employment
  • Current Security+ certification or an equivalent or higher credential
  • Proven ability to design and develop Kibana dashboards and other data visualizations
  • Practical experience cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data with Python, pandas, NumPy, SQL, or R
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data pipeline engineering
  • Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions and useful analytical conclusions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for explaining complex findings to varied audiences
  • Experience using Git or comparable version control in collaborative development settings
  • Careful approach to data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Clear communication and documentation practices that support teamwork and knowledge transfer
  • Experience designing application integrations and working with distributed teams
  • Preferred experience includes Elastic Stack, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, self-service analytics, Agile practices, cloud data platforms, big data, data governance, DoD settings, DISA and DoD networks, network routing equipment, text mining, CI/CD, containerized pipelines, DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS GovCloud, Atlassian tools, Scrum, and SAFe
