Senior Data Center Team Lead, Pharmacy A Shift - Lockbourne, Ohio

Lead onsite data center material operations for DSV, including server rack installation, cabling, inventory control, and freight handling. Support logistics operations in Lockbourne by coordinating customer requests, safety procedures, and team performance.

Description

  • Manage material orders, customer service, and inventory operations
  • Process customer requests for material movement
  • Supervise inbound and outbound freight loading and unloading
  • Maintain shipping documentation and records
  • Inspect freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition for quality
  • Complete daily cycle counts and replenish critical data center spare parts
  • Process electronic component returns through multiple warehouse management systems
  • Lead server rack placement on the data center floor using laser measurement equipment
  • Install electronic components and cabling in server racks from diagrams and schematics
  • Fit rack hardware with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Lead work-area cleanup in line with safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Follow safety and process requirements while maintaining punctuality, reliability, accuracy, and quality
  • Cross-train across multiple data center departments as needed
  • Delegate tasks and coach team members
  • Build effective working relationships with customers and onsite stakeholders
  • Use information and data to make accurate, efficient production decisions

Requirements

  • Three to five years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, static discharge risks, and relevant protocols
  • Ability to work with energized electrical and electronic equipment and components
  • Ability to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
  • Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently during the workday
  • Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and laser measuring devices while following diagrams and schematics
