Senior Data Analytics Associate – PwC, Kolkata (On-site)
PwC is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Associate in Kolkata to build dashboards, analytical models, and monitoring tools for risk and regulatory engagements. The role includes reviewing workstreams and supporting junior team members across global client projects.
Description
- Examine client data to uncover risk patterns, control weaknesses, and emerging trends
- Create dashboards, reports, and monitoring solutions that turn analysis into practical insights
- Develop data strategies and analytical models for risk assessment and regulatory reporting
- Evaluate systems and data sources for quality, completeness, and consistency
- Use Python, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL tools to prepare, transform, and visualize data
- Translate complex information into structured findings and clear client recommendations
- Check deliverables for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with project objectives
- Contribute to ongoing data monitoring and improve analytics processes
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Strengthen client relationships through audience-appropriate communication
- Solve complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, review colleagues’ outputs, and build client connections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least four years of professional experience
- Strong spoken and written English required
- Study in accounting, engineering, data processing or analytics, computer and information science, economics, or finance is preferred
- At least one certification in databases such as Databricks or MS SQL, visualization tools such as Power BI, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or predictive modeling and machine learning using Python or SAS
- Experience delivering client-facing data analytics for risk and regulatory engagements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Experience validating analytical outputs for accuracy, relevance, and business context
- Experience coaching junior colleagues while coordinating multiple workstreams
