Senior Data & Analytics Analyst – Hybrid in Bengaluru

Senior Data & Analytics Analyst at Thomson Reuters developing Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and dbt solutions. Build dashboards, semantic models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled analytics that support business decisions.

Description

  • Collect and assess business, financial, and operational data needs
  • Create semantic models, data marts, and analytics solutions
  • Develop dashboards and visual reports with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Build and manage data transformation pipelines in dbt and Snowflake
  • Develop and maintain semantic models within Microsoft Fabric
  • Turn analysis into actionable insights through reports, presentations, and data storytelling
  • Partner with stakeholders and communicate effectively across organizational levels
  • Contribute to AI-enabled analytics, including Generative AI and self-service solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt
  • Advanced SQL and data analysis capabilities
  • Background in developing data pipelines and transformation workflows
  • Hands-on experience creating dashboards and data visualizations
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Generative AI, AI-powered analytics, or conversational analytics experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of CI/CD methods and cloud data platforms is preferred
  • Experience working with financial and operational data is preferred
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices is preferred
  • Relevant Microsoft, Power BI, or Snowflake certifications are preferred
