Senior CMBS Loan Servicing Analyst

Senior analyst supporting commercial real estate loan servicing at PNC. Responsibilities include processing transactions, interpreting loan agreements, managing delinquencies, and maintaining compliance.

Description

  • Manage servicing for a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including CMBS, balance sheet, and agency loans.
  • Contact authorized parties to complete Borrower Admin registration for CRE Insight access.
  • Handle borrower requests by phone, email, and through the CRE Insight portal.
  • Research and process incoming and aged funds.
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and conduct collections.
  • Review and process borrower requests to waive late charges.
  • Process address changes, audit confirmations, and rate cap reviews.
  • Work with internal departments to support borrowers.
  • Process transactions accurately and in accordance with loan documents.
  • Interpret complex loan agreements and apply their terms to servicing activities.
  • Address compliance issues with internal and external parties.
  • Process loan payments, escrow accounts, and reserve disbursements.
  • Prepare periodic reports for investors, internal teams, and regulators.
  • Test compliance with loan covenants.
  • Keep loan servicing records accurate and current.
  • Help onboard new loans and transition loans that are paid off or transferred.
  • Support tax and insurance administration.
  • Review reports for exceptions, quality issues, and risks.
  • Provide subject matter guidance and specialty product training as needed.

Requirements

  • A university or college degree is typically required; comparable education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered instead.
  • A bachelor’s degree is listed under Education.
  • Knowledge of servicing commercial real estate loans, including CMBS, balance sheet, and agency loans.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex loan agreements.
  • Ability to comply with loan documents, servicing agreements, internal policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to process transactions accurately and deliver timely reports.
  • Ability to resolve compliance issues through written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to review loan payments, escrows, reserve account disbursements, and delinquent accounts.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date loan servicing records.
  • Relevant capabilities include analytical thinking, capital management, compliance, documentation, due diligence, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
