Senior Cloud Operations Lead - India (Remote)
Lead AWS and Kubernetes operations for Infios’s warehouse management platform in a remote India role. Improve production reliability through automation, incident response, troubleshooting, and SLA-focused operations.
Description
- Partner with solutions architects and business stakeholders to identify, design, develop, and deploy infrastructure engineering solutions for the warehouse management platform
- Operate SaaS Kubernetes applications in AWS
- Respond to event-driven alerts and operational incidents
- Implement plans for rapid adoption of new technologies
- Triage tickets submitted by the Client Services organization
- Support and troubleshoot operating system, application, virtualization, and containerization issues
- Help develop automation and operational processes that improve SLAs
- Support customer production environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud operations, engineering, or development
- At least 3 years of experience supporting large-scale Java applications
- At least 3 years of experience supporting AWS environments
- Experience supporting OCI environments
- Extensive experience applying Infrastructure as Code principles and technologies, including Terraform
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Hands-on experience managing and implementing Kubernetes solutions
- Automation experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Python, or comparable tools
- Hands-on experience gathering performance data, analyzing systems, troubleshooting issues, and tuning performance
- Proficiency with application containers such as IIS and Tomcat
- Experience troubleshooting across the full application stack
- Experience with source control management, including Git
- Multi-cloud experience, particularly supporting AWS and OCI
- Experience managing Java applications
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace
- Experience managing Helm-templated Kubernetes environments
- Understanding of microservice architectures
- Experience with application protocols and messaging technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON, JDBC, and JMS/MQ
- Exposure to application threading and concurrency considerations
- Experience troubleshooting environment issues involving response times, connectivity, authentication, authorization, and configuration
- Experience supporting geographically distributed systems in hosted global datacenter environments
