Senior Clinical Sales Representative – South Korea

Support adoption of Intuitive’s da Vinci robotic surgery system across South Korean hospitals. Provide operating-room support, train surgeons and staff, develop customer programs, and grow instrument and accessory sales in a remote role with onsite travel as needed.

Description

  • Provide clinical and system support during operating-room procedures to increase da Vinci utilization across the assigned territory
  • Represent the company at symposiums, exhibitions, and market-development events
  • Launch robotic programs at new customer sites and secure continued customer commitment
  • Train surgeons and hospital staff on the da Vinci system
  • Deliver system in-service sessions and onsite training tailored to surgical-team roles
  • Coach and assist with onboarding new employees
  • Manage key-account relationships and related responsibilities
  • Handle administrative duties, including hospital billing and invoice delivery, invoice reconciliation with Accounting, and instrument delivery
  • Work with the capital team to address customer contract and service issues
  • Create a local-market sales plan in partnership with the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager
  • Build clinical expertise across core operating-room procedures
  • Collaborate with senior hospital leaders and key surgeons to plan and execute da Vinci integration at new customer sites
  • Create clinical plans that enable surgical teams to use the system independently within a reasonable timeframe
  • Convert high-potential leads and lead related training activities
  • Increase instrument and accessory sales through new-product launches and solution-based selling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of sales experience with clinics and hospitals
  • Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • Life sciences background, operating-room knowledge, or a clinical foundation is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on account distribution
  • Excellent written and spoken Korean and English
  • Ability to work remotely and attend onsite meetings when requested by the leader
