Description
- Design and build scalable, resilient, high-performance microservice architectures using AWS services such as Lambda and ECS.
- Implement and optimize REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs for security and performance under heavy load.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code in Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline software releases.
- Apply reliability, observability, and monitoring practices to support high system availability.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Work with cross-functional product, design, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- Bring more than six years of backend engineering experience working with scalable distributed systems.
- Be proficient in Python with FastAPI, Flask, or Django, or JavaScript with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Have experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Have experience designing REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs.
- Be experienced with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Be able to collaborate across functions and mentor fellow engineers.
- Bring a problem-solving approach to complex technical challenges, strategic decision-making, and results.
- Have prior experience in fintech or high-traffic platforms.
- Be able to implement AI tools to improve workflows.
