Senior AI Engineer – Palantir Foundry and Agentic AI
Build production-grade agentic AI solutions with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including data pipelines, LLM workflows, and multi-agent systems for international consulting clients.
Description
- Contribute to a 15-month AI transformation program for an international management consulting client
- Deliver production-ready agentic AI solutions for a range of business applications
- Work within a cross-functional team of senior data and AI engineers
- Move solutions from initial concepts and experiments into deployment
- Design, develop, test, and productionize agentic AI solutions across the full use-case lifecycle
- Create modular AI agents, tools, and reusable capabilities for multiple business applications
- Build data pipelines and data products for structured and unstructured data in Palantir Foundry
- Develop and maintain Foundry ontologies covering Object Types, Link Types, Action Types, Interfaces, and Property Sets
- Create and deploy LLM workflows with Palantir AIP Logic, AIP Automate, and AIP Assist
- Integrate and assess models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and other LLM providers based on quality, security, and cost
- Establish automated testing, observability, guardrails, and secure CI/CD pipelines for production releases
- Partner with client stakeholders and other team members
- Share Palantir knowledge and support the development of fellow engineers
Requirements
- Substantial commercial experience designing, developing, and deploying production agentic AI or multi-agent systems
- Practical expertise with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP, including data engineering, ontology design, and AI/LLM workflows
- Advanced Python development skills
- Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable tools
- Experience creating data pipelines and semantic or context layers from structured and unstructured data
- Practical knowledge of major LLM providers, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and model integration
- Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps
- Understanding of LLM evaluation, AI guardrails, observability, and responsible AI practices
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients, cross-functional teams, and fellow engineers
- Experience with advanced Palantir features such as CBAC attribute sets, Data Lineage, Ontology Linter, and Foundry Marketplace
- Working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, and Databricks Genie
- Experience designing semantic layers, ontologies, or context spines across Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of LLM selection, performance tuning, and cost control
- Background in consulting, rapid prototyping, or enabling engineering teams through knowledge sharing
