Senior AI Engineer — Brazil Remote
Build dependable LLM extraction pipelines and AI-enabled web applications for enterprise transformation projects at CI&T. Work with Python, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, React, and Next.js.
Description
- Create LLM-based extraction pipelines with multi-call consensus, grounding, and value checks
- Map extracted attributes to the PriCat standard for consistent data and ERP compatibility
- Assess and improve AI models using accuracy, cost, and latency measures
- Monitor AI behavior and enhance performance with LLM observability tools
- Develop AI features with Python, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, and Document Intelligence
- Create and maintain Jinja2 prompt templates and structured-generation workflows
- Rebuild and improve the web application from Design team mockups with Next.js and React
- Create PDF grounding views that help users understand and verify extracted evidence
- Investigate issues for French-speaking users, deliver fixes, and implement small enhancements
- Write and maintain automated tests
- Work with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into AI solutions
Requirements
- Substantial software engineering experience focused on AI engineering and full-stack development
- Proficiency in Python and experience creating AI-powered applications
- Practical experience with Azure OpenAI and large language models
- Experience using LangChain to build LLM workflows or information-extraction pipelines
- Understanding of document processing, structured extraction, grounding, and output validation
- Experience measuring AI solutions for quality, cost, and latency
- Familiarity with LLM observability platforms, especially Langfuse
- Experience developing front-end applications with React and Next.js
- Familiarity with Jinja2 or comparable template-based techniques
- Experience writing automated tests and diagnosing production applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with close attention to data quality and reliability
- Ability to work across disciplines and explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence or comparable document-processing tools
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, multi-step extraction, consensus methods, and grounding techniques
- Experience connecting AI-generated data to ERP systems or enterprise data standards
- Familiarity with PDF rendering, document annotation, and evidence-based validation interfaces
- Experience assisting international users or working in multilingual settings
- Knowledge of AI monitoring, tracing, and continuous-improvement practices
