Security and Compliance Engineer - ARGO-HYTOS (Poland Remote)

Join ARGO-HYTOS as a Security and Compliance Engineer supporting its global hydraulics technology operations from Poland. The role covers Microsoft Entra security controls, ISMS compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Description

  • Maintain and enhance the ISMS through compliance work, audit preparation, evidence gathering, risk monitoring, and remediation tracking
  • Convert security and compliance obligations into workable technical controls and validate their performance
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft and Entra security controls, including MFA, Conditional Access, role-based permissions, privileged access, access reviews, endpoint protection, and system hardening
  • Lead operational security work spanning Cyber Defence Center investigations, vulnerability and patch management, incident handling, backup and restore protection, ransomware preparedness, and restore-test documentation
  • Embed security requirements within IT operations, change and release workflows, and service management practices
  • Measure and communicate security posture through indicators such as MFA adoption, device compliance, patch levels, critical risks, and restore-test outcomes
  • Partner with international IT teams, the Cyber Defence Center, and business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Practical experience in IT security, Microsoft 365 or Entra administration, endpoint management, IT operations, or a similar technical position
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft security principles, particularly identity and access management, endpoint protection, and cloud security
  • Foundational to advanced understanding of ISO 27001, including risk-based controls, policies, evidence management, and audit preparation
  • Technical capability in multiple areas such as IAM, endpoint protection, secure access, vulnerability management, logging or SIEM, and backup or recovery
  • A proactive, organized, and pragmatic approach to work
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with IT and business teams
  • Proven ability to manage tasks through completion
