Description
- Deliver consecutive English-Spanish interpretation through over-the-phone and video remote services.
- Interpret in medical, social services, customer care, and financial settings.
- Help healthcare providers and patients communicate clearly.
- Work remotely from home on a five-day schedule with two days off.
- Stay available in the call queue and interpret each call accurately.
Requirements
- Previous, verifiable experience providing remote OPI/VRI interpretation is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience with remote English-Spanish OPI/VRI interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of patient privacy practices and HIPAA.
- Native-level fluency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Use a direct Ethernet connection to the router; Wi-Fi is not allowed.
- A client-approved USB headset is required; Bluetooth, mono, and built-in microphones are not allowed.
- Approved headset models include Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Jabra Evolve, Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000, Plantronics Blackwire C3220, Dell Plantronics, and HP Stereo USB Headset G2.
- Intel i5 processor, 6th Generation or newer.
- 720p or 1080p webcam.
- Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
