Description
- Prepare and run weekly or monthly payroll
- Verify hours, new starters, leavers and employee changes
- Calculate deductions, pension contributions and statutory payments
- Respond clearly and promptly to employee payroll questions
- Maintain compliant records ready for audit
- Meet UK payroll deadlines and cycles
- Work from home with modern cloud-based tools
Requirements
- Have experience managing payroll from start to finish
- Have used payroll software such as Sage, BrightPay or Xero Payroll
- Understand PAYE, National Insurance and pension auto-enrolment, or be willing to learn
- Demonstrate strong numeracy and careful attention to detail
- Handle confidential information discreetly
- Be eligible to work remotely from South Africa
- UK payroll experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with HMRC reporting is an advantage
- Experience with Excel lookups and pivot tables is an advantage
