Remote Partnership Management Specialist - Texas

Coordinate Pearson VUE education assessment programs while managing customers, projects, contracts, risks, budgets, and delivery.

Description

  • Support the successful delivery of assigned School Assessment programs
  • Coordinate multiple projects or larger projects within a program
  • Work with customers, vendors, cross-functional teams, and subcontractors to support customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external customers
  • Provide responsive customer service as the daily point of contact
  • Manage projects from initiation and planning through execution, control, and closeout
  • Maintain project plans, customer requirements, schedules, and program records
  • Coordinate stakeholders and resources to achieve project objectives
  • Apply quality standards and review project deliverables
  • Help implement statements of work and contracts
  • Control project scope, schedules, costs, risks, and changes
  • Identify process and quality improvements and apply cost-reduction measures
  • Track project performance, address variances, take corrective action, and report outcomes
  • Complete project plan activities and customer deliverables
  • Prepare and present program status and risk reports for internal and external audiences
  • Assist with new business activities, including statements of work and change requests
  • Support financial reviews and documentation to keep contracts within budget and margin expectations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Two to three years of experience in project management
  • PMP certification or familiarity with PMI principles and practices preferred
  • Adaptability and flexibility in the workplace
  • Sound decision-making with limited information
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong customer service and project management experience
  • Understanding of team dynamics and the ability to promote a positive team environment
  • Strong urgency, organization, and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong listening, negotiation, and facilitation abilities
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
