Remote Oncology Sales Representative – North Carolina

Lead field sales for a newly approved lung-cancer therapy across the Charlotte and Raleigh territory. Build relationships with oncology providers and support adoption of EVERSANA’s client product.

Description

  • Promote a newly approved oncology product to practices throughout the assigned territory
  • Conduct in-person discussions with oncologists, oncology nurses, office personnel, and pharmacists
  • Build ongoing relationships and communication with physicians and influential oncology thought leaders across the United States
  • Explain the client’s oncology product, approved uses, and patient support services to healthcare providers
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the product, disease area, customers, and territory
  • Record customer interactions and manage account plans in the CRM system
  • Provide knowledgeable, responsive service to customers
  • Coordinate with internal teams and deploy relevant resources effectively
  • Complete training on the disease state and product positioning
  • Visit medical offices and hospitals, with approximately 80% travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Work a 40-hour week, including weekend medical meetings when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; business, life science, or clinical study is preferred
  • At least three years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales experience
  • A minimum of one year of oncology experience and familiarity with the integrated oncology network
  • A consistent record of measurable, documented sales results is preferred
  • Ability to plan, interpret, and act on sales data within an assigned geographic territory
  • Strong, persuasive business communication skills with physicians and healthcare providers
  • Capacity to work independently while applying sound business judgment and discretion
  • Ability to evaluate and address opportunities within the territory
  • Experience with a Sales Force Automation application is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% as needed within a territory extending up to two hours from the headquarters city; overnight travel may be required
  • Ability to conduct a clinical product sale
  • Demonstrated success managing a territory
  • Strong working knowledge of Veeva systems
