Remote Insurance Analyst III at CSAA Insurance Group

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a remote Insurance Analyst III to evaluate complex business data, address recurring and ad hoc challenges, and present actionable recommendations. The role applies statistical and technical methods within personal-lines property and casualty insurance.

Description

  • Analyze complex data for assigned client groups and connect findings to broader business objectives
  • Investigate issues with teams outside IPM/IPO and build support for findings and action plans
  • Use broader business knowledge to recommend procedures and analyses that support effective solutions
  • Prepare client-facing findings and recommendations
  • Present findings jointly to senior management
  • Review work from less-experienced staff for accuracy, logic, and suitability
  • Develop and coach reporting processes for communicating information to clients
  • Use analytical methods and technical expertise on recurring and ad hoc projects involving unstructured problems and complex analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least four years of directly relevant experience
  • Advanced research, statistical, analytical, processing, and mathematical abilities
  • Ability to design and carry out structured analyses
  • Adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, and effective at managing time
  • Ability to deliver effective formal presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Ability to coach and mentor colleagues and provide constructive feedback
  • Working knowledge of insurance, accounting, and rate-making principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and structured analysis and design methods
  • Willingness to travel as required, including for divisional, team, and other in-person meetings
  • Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States
  • Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future
