Description

  • Develop and improve internal systems, policies, and processes for a growing remote company.
  • Manage daily operational decisions and execution.
  • Represent the CEO and other leaders, run meetings, move projects forward, and make decisions within delegated authority.
  • Guide internal initiatives from initial idea to completion.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, resolve dependencies, and turn decisions into action.
  • Join leadership meetings and manage complex, sensitive matters.
  • Lead and develop a small internal operations team.
  • Oversee administration, people operations support, company events, and employee experience programs.
  • Create all-hands presentations, leadership updates, and company communications.
  • Spot recurring friction, unclear ownership, and operational risks, then develop durable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated success owning complex operations or cross-functional initiatives and delivering strong results with limited oversight.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and integrity.
  • Proactive and self-directed work style.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into clear priorities, practical processes, and decisive action.
  • Confidence and presence to represent senior leaders, guide consequential discussions, and make sound decisions within delegated authority.
  • Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal credibility to work across functions, resolve disagreements, and hold people accountable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including persuasive presentations and concise recommendations.
  • Ability to lead a small team while staying hands-on and resourceful.
  • Experience improving operations in a demanding, growing organization while taking on increasing responsibility.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Vetcove cannot sponsor work visas.
  • Employment is conditional on passing a background check.
