Description

  • Oversee Cream’s campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, Meta, and programmatic channels.
  • Set agency strategy, assess plans and creative, challenge targeting, and manage the commercial relationship.
  • Build and optimise affiliate and referral programmes, covering partner recruitment, commissions, performance tracking, and payouts.
  • Develop influencer partnerships and measure their contribution to growth.
  • Deliver acquisition targets for Overleaf and Readcube.
  • Distribute budgets across agency-managed and in-house channels to meet customer acquisition cost and revenue targets.
  • Calculate CAC:LTV by channel and cohort to inform investment choices.
  • Work with the senior growth and commercial analyst on tracking, attribution, and reconciling spend.
  • Conduct structured tests of creative, audiences, offers, and channel mix.
  • Share results with commercial and marketing leaders, tying channel metrics to pipeline and revenue impact.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing performance marketing across Google Search, Performance Max, Meta, and programmatic channels.
  • Direct experience overseeing an external agency is preferred.
  • Practical experience developing and operating affiliate or referral programmes.
  • Experience using influencer marketing as a measurable customer acquisition channel.
  • Commercial, data-focused approach and fluency in CAC, LTV, and payback period.
  • Strong understanding of attribution, tracking, and analytics.
  • Experience collaborating with a data or analytics partner to verify spend and results.
  • History of managing substantial budgets from allocation through return-on-investment reporting.
  • Experience in subscription, SaaS, or direct-to-consumer businesses is valued.
  • Knowledge of academic, research, or productivity tools is a plus.
  • Able to work without a large team, balancing strategic responsibility with hands-on delivery.
  • Curiosity about AI and willingness to test and adapt.
