Remote Account Manager, Michigan Energy Efficiency Programs

Manage CLEAResult’s Efficiency United program in Michigan by engaging commercial customers and contractors. Promote energy-efficiency rebates, expand participation, and support successful project delivery.

Description

  • Support delivery of the Efficiency United program in Michigan
  • Implement commercial energy-efficiency utility rebate initiatives
  • Engage directly with customers and trade allies or contractors
  • Build knowledge of the commercial customer base
  • Educate customers and contractors to increase rebate awareness and participation
  • Create outreach strategies for commercial customer segments
  • Develop the commercial customer pipeline and manage projects through completion
  • Coordinate between customers and contractors to improve program satisfaction
  • Incorporate program offerings into customer operations
  • Identify, schedule, coordinate, and present at program events
  • Identify participation barriers and provide key information to the Senior Market Outreach Manager
  • Use a CRM as part of daily work
  • Prepare monthly activity reports and monitor progress toward program goals
  • Travel 50–75% within Michigan’s lower east side

Requirements

  • Professional experience in sales, consulting, or a comparable field
  • Knowledge of or experience with energy efficiency is preferred
  • Live in or near Michigan
  • Work independently, stay self-motivated, and communicate progress with minimal supervision
  • Manage tight deadlines, competing or changing priorities, and interruptions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Technical trade experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • When applicable, satisfy DOT qualification requirements and follow federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or support
  • Successful candidates must complete pre-employment checks
