Program Manager, Released Products – Remote

Lead cross-functional engineering changes, documentation updates, and implementation readiness for ThermalWorks’ zero-water data center cooling systems. Guide product revisions from release planning through operational deployment.

Description

  • Direct programs for released products spanning major revisions, performance and configuration updates, compliance changes, manufacturing changes, and documentation impacts.
  • Build revision plans covering scope, affected products and configurations, deliverables, ownership, dependencies, milestones, and implementation progress.
  • Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings, documenting agendas, updates, decisions, and actions through completion.
  • Track schedule, scope, risk, and readiness, surfacing gaps and escalating resource or decision needs.
  • Align release and implementation readiness across Engineering, Operations, Service, Project Management, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Oversee updates to specifications, data sheets, IOM manuals, submittals, drawings, test information, labels, and attachments.
  • Provide documentation owners with complete technical inputs on schedule.
  • Track document dependencies and progress through review and release.
  • Validate that released documentation reflects the intended product revision and identify superseded or incomplete content.
  • Drive implementation of approved ECRs, ECOs, and ECNs through completion.
  • Confirm approved changes appear in BOMs, drawings, controlled documents, manufacturing instructions, supplier communications, and product records.
  • Preserve traceability across revision scope, engineering changes, documentation deliverables, approvals, and implementation evidence.
  • Assist with cut-in planning and related communications.
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, meeting records, and decision logs.
  • Deliver status reporting to Product Development leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage Product Development-to-Operations handoffs, including readiness reviews and completion criteria.
  • Help standardize practices for released-product revision planning, documentation coordination, and action closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business, project management, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience in program or project coordination, product lifecycle support, engineering change coordination, production planning, or a related engineered-product role.
  • Background coordinating cross-functional work across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Project Management, Quality, Service, and suppliers or contract manufacturers.
  • Experience with revision control, engineering change procedures, documentation workflows, or configuration management in a quality-focused manufacturing setting.
  • Strong program coordination skills with dependable follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple product revisions and competing priorities.
  • Highly organized approach to scope, ownership, dependencies, milestones, risks, decisions, and action tracking.
  • Clear written and verbal communicator who can facilitate meetings, report status, and escalate issues.
  • Ability to interpret and use BOMs, drawings, engineering change records, technical documents, and product configuration data.
  • Comfort working with technical writers, engineers, project managers, operations and manufacturing teams, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or document tracking systems.
  • Self-directed, dependable, detail-focused, and effective in rapidly changing cross-functional environments.
