Description

  • Design and build AWS infrastructure and the delivery platform for a new gaming system
  • Define the cloud foundation across account structure, networking, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability
  • Architect AWS multi-account environments, landing zones, VPCs, networking, IAM, and cost governance
  • Operate an Amazon EKS platform with service mesh, autoscaling, and multi-AZ and multi-region resilience
  • Deliver Terraform infrastructure as code, GitOps with Argo CD or similar, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and SLO-driven reliability practices with error budgets
  • Lead incident response, on-call design, runbooks, chaos and load testing, and blameless postmortems
  • Develop migration infrastructure with dual-running environments, data pipelines, and cutover processes
  • Implement audit trails, environment isolation, backup and disaster recovery, and gaming compliance controls
  • Provision infrastructure for AI-assisted development and integrate AI tools into DevOps workflows
  • Mentor engineers and establish organization-wide cloud-native and operational standards

Requirements

  • Bring 10+ years of DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including 3+ years at staff or principal level with organization-wide impact
  • Demonstrate deep hands-on AWS expertise across EKS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, large-scale IAM, and multi-account architectures
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification is advantageous
  • Bring expert-level Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience
  • Have strong Kubernetes operations expertise covering day-two operations, upgrades, capacity, and cost
  • Show a record of creating CI/CD and developer platforms that engineering teams adopt through effective golden paths
  • Apply observability and SLO/error-budget practices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch
  • Have operated highly available, high-throughput production systems through real traffic surges and documented incident playbooks
  • Write strong Python, Go, or Bash scripts and comfortably read application code
  • Have designed backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for systems where data loss is unacceptable
  • Communicate platform decisions clearly in written and spoken English with engineers and executives
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex for infrastructure, pipelines, and operations automation is a significant advantage
  • Understand security engineering, including cloud security posture management, secrets management such as Vault, vulnerability management, SAST, DAST, SCA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS
  • Experience in iGaming, sports betting, fintech, or another regulated, high-transaction-volume sector is valuable
  • Have experience migrating away from a third-party vendor platform
  • Have experience with event-streaming infrastructure such as Kafka or MSK and large-scale database operations
  • Polish and/or Spanish language skills
