Conduct doctoral research on GraphRAG, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI agents for the Instituto Itaú innovation project. Build semantic prototypes and develop methods for evaluating and securing intelligent-agent responses.
Description
- Assess hybrid search methods and semantic retrieval performance
- Investigate GraphRAG use cases in enterprise settings
- Build a proof-of-concept semantic MCP prototype
- Establish approaches for agent grounding, traceability, response assessment, and security
- Contribute to an innovation initiative at the Itaú Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation with Inova Talentos
Requirements
- Doctorate in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a comparable discipline
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, GraphRAG, AI agents, MCP, response assessment, grounding, and AI security
- Experience with intelligent-agent frameworks, MCP, generative-AI evaluation, explainability, and Responsible AI is preferred
- Prior GraphRAG experience is preferred
- Able to commit to 40 hours per week
