Pharmaceutical Marketing Project Director

Lead complex pharmaceutical marketing campaigns and major client accounts at P10. Guide project managers while overseeing delivery, finances, processes, and regulatory compliance.

Description

  • Lead delivery of complex, high-value, multichannel pharmaceutical marketing campaigns.
  • Work with account leads and creative leadership to meet strategic and regulatory requirements and client expectations.
  • Anticipate risks, resolve issues, and protect delivery schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee finances for large accounts and portfolios, including forecasts, revenue recognition, and margins.
  • Find opportunities to grow accounts and improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Support agency operations planning and resource allocation.
  • Set project management standards, processes, and best practices across the team.
  • Coach project managers and senior project managers in their professional development.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing and tool training sessions, and uphold project management standards.
  • Advise clients and internal teams, aligning project work with business goals.
  • Guide process improvement, workflow design, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Report to the Head of Project Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, project management, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of project management experience at a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
  • Track record leading large, cross-functional client programs and managing high-value accounts.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) processes in the US and/or Canada.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong financial skills, including account forecasting and margin management.
  • Expertise using project management systems and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
