Part-Time Field Inventory Auditor
Conduct inventory and compliance audits across Circle K convenience stores, including physical counts of cash, merchandise, fuel, and other store assets. The role also includes surveys, deposit verification, and independent fieldwork.
Description
- Conduct physical merchandise and cash counts in company stores using a handheld computer
- Report pricing discrepancies to store managers and remove expired merchandise
- Count and document cash, checks, food stamps, register funds, TACC tubes, and safe contents
- Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits
- Measure gasoline inventory by checking tank levels and testing for water
- Complete surveys assessing compliance with operational and financial procedures
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Support team objectives and complete related duties as required
- Perform work involving sitting, speaking, hearing, handling and grasping, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience-store setting
- Valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance
- Availability for occasional overnight travel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
