Oracle Cloud Technical Architect Canada Remote

Lead Nuvei’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM architecture for global finance operations. Govern integrations, security approvals, OCI infrastructure, production readiness, and ongoing support.

Description

  • Lead the Oracle technical workstream for Nuvei’s UFS Reimagined program within Global Finance
  • Establish Oracle technical standards and act as the authority for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM
  • Evaluate and approve integration architecture and designs from systems integrators
  • Define connectivity, identity, environment, security, and configuration requirements across the Oracle ecosystem
  • Lead architecture and security approval activities for Oracle connections to Kyriba and Sovos
  • Own the Oracle Integration Cloud posting route from the Azure and Snowflake rules platform to the Oracle general ledger
  • Establish standards for orchestration, scheduling, retries, error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting
  • Run architecture reviews during development and testing, and authorize technical releases to production
  • Prepare architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, and third-party risk documentation, including diagrams, control reviews, test outcomes, and remediation tracking
  • Validate environment topology, segregation, capacity, availability, performance, scalability, deployment routes, and separation of duties
  • Represent Nuvei in selecting and onboarding the application managed services partner
  • Own Nuvei’s internal responsibilities within the hybrid support model and lead knowledge transfer to Global Finance and the support partner
  • Oversee hypercare and ongoing support during critical month-end and year-end periods
  • Define proactive monitoring, thresholds, observability, alert routing, dashboards, and operational runbooks
  • Manage the Oracle Fusion Cloud environment landscape, refresh planning, quarterly update readiness, and regression coverage
  • Govern the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy, including compartments, identity domains, policies, networking, service limits, costs, and service health
  • Set Fusion security standards and assess proposed changes against them
  • Evaluate non-functional requirements and approve final technical evidence and handover

Requirements

  • At least ten years of hands-on Oracle technical experience, including several complete Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation lifecycles from requirements through cutover and hypercare
  • Proven accountability for architecture on an Oracle Fusion Cloud program, including integration architecture, technical standards, and design approval for a partner-led delivery
  • Current, in-depth Oracle Integration Cloud expertise covering orchestrations, adapters, mappings, fault handling, scheduling, and review of third-party designs
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud integration capabilities, including REST and SOAP services, ERP Integration Service, file-based data import, and business events
  • Practical Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience with identity and access management, compartments, policies, networking, and service limits
  • Experience guiding an Oracle ecosystem through enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and third-party risk approval, including evidence packages, conditions, compensating controls, and formal sign-off
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with external SaaS platforms outside the corporate network, including connectivity, certificates, and identity architecture
  • Working knowledge of Azure and Snowflake to design and validate the interface between a rules-based subledger and the Oracle general ledger
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, plus reporting experience with BI Publisher and OTBI
  • Experience moving a newly implemented Oracle ecosystem into managed support, including hybrid models shared by an internal team and support partner
  • Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance leaders, partner technical teams, and system owners
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
