Onsite Operations Supervisor – Plasma Center, Grifols (Victoria, TX)

Lead donor flow, plasma collection, compliance, documentation, and daily center operations at Grifols in Victoria, Texas. Supervise staff, support equipment and facility readiness, and help maintain a high-quality donor experience.

Description

  • Carry out operational and production duties throughout the plasma center.
  • Oversee donor flow, donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and FDA-approved procedures.
  • Participate in required training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
  • Support facility upkeep and proper equipment operation.
  • Provide timely, accurate reports to the Center Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Help manage center donor funds.
  • Train new employees and provide refresher training to existing staff.
  • Coordinate with other service areas to uphold documentation accuracy and quality.
  • Develop positive donor relationships that support satisfaction and continued donation.
  • Escalate unsafe situations and conditions.
  • Complete training to repair plasma center equipment when assigned.
  • Support the Center Manager and Assistant Manager with work advancing company objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
  • Typically four years of related experience in phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing.
  • Proven ability to manage difficult situations effectively.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations, FDA-approved standard operating procedures, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and internal company procedures.
  • Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours daily and sit for 1 to 2 hours daily.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, and crouch; perform frequent hand and foot movements; and regularly lift 15 pounds up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Essential hearing acuity.
  • Correctable near and far vision, including color perception and discrimination.
  • Ability to communicate and understand spoken information.
  • Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions.
  • Ability to perform varied duties under changing conditions.
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups.
