Description
- Build full-stack software at a mid-level scope
- Work mainly with .NET and React, using AI to support work across both technologies
- Create precise specifications, divide plans into verifiable steps, and define acceptance criteria for people and agents
- Develop and maintain LLM context, including instructions, constraints, examples, tools or MCPs, and context-window usage
- Use generative AI and agent-based tools in software development with structured human review
- Assess, verify, and improve code created by AI systems and external contributors
- Produce organized, reliable, and testable code
- Create and maintain automated test suites
- Collaborate through Git and pull requests
- Work with SQL databases, data models, and agile development methods
Requirements
- At least three years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in either .NET or React, with the ability to work across both using AI support
- Core competence in Spec-Driven Development, including writing precise specifications, creating verifiable implementation plans, and defining acceptance criteria for people and agents
- Experience engineering LLM context through instructions, constraints, examples, tool or MCP selection, and context-window management
- Experience using generative AI and agent-based development tools with sound judgment, accountability, and consistent human review
- Ability to thoroughly assess and correct AI-generated or third-party code
- Ability to produce high-quality, well-structured, testable code with strong object-oriented programming and/or software design principles
- Experience with automated unit and/or integration testing
- Experience with Git version control and pull-request collaboration
- Experience with SQL databases and foundational data modeling
- Experience with agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP
- Knowledge of Python
- Practical experience orchestrating agents and using MCPs or connectors is a plus
- Familiarity with evaluating and observing AI output, tracking quality, regressions, and token costs, and using model-agnostic architectures is a plus
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or messaging is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD and automated build and release processes is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and/or containers, including Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus
