Logistics Management Analyst - Peraton (Onsite)

Support Peraton’s USTRANSCOM planning and force-mobility missions through logistics analysis, wargaming, and operational planning. Develop decision packages and other products for senior leaders.

Description

  • Support analysis and Combatant Command plan development to strengthen the nation’s ability to move and sustain forces worldwide
  • Apply advanced Joint Planning expertise to adaptive and deliberate planning for logistics, deployment, mobility, and distribution
  • Support COCOM OPLANS and CONPLANS
  • Deliver Mission Analysis and Course of Action Development briefings
  • Develop Course of Action Analysis and wargaming materials
  • Gather data from varied sources and standardize it for analytic studies
  • Use basic analytical tools and methods to create decision-support products
  • Produce planning materials in Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Word, and web formats
  • Create staff action decision packages, briefing slides, Program Objectives Action and Milestones, and Synchronization Matrices
  • Work with planners, analysts, enterprise stakeholders, and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent military experience as specified: a degree from an accredited college or university plus MEL4 military schooling and 15 years of related experience, or at least 20 years of military operational experience including five years at E-6, O-3, or above
  • Operational experience planning and executing combined and joint operations at the theater or component level
  • Knowledge of combat arms, logistics, and civil-military operations
  • Experience with USTRANSCOM’s area of responsibility or a relevant functional area
  • Strong, well-developed writing skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with SharePoint functions and the Task Management Tool
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines and work objectives
  • U.S. citizenship
  • An active DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
