Lending Credit Analyst Intern – London Hybrid
Use Python or SQL, data analysis, and modelling to support Lendable’s fintech lending decisions. Deliver insights on risk, pricing, fraud, and lending strategy.
Description
- Extract actionable insights from data through analytical and problem-solving techniques
- Use data and modelling to support NPV assumptions, including forecasts of future default rates
- Apply analytics to determine lending eligibility and amounts while considering economic and competitive shifts
- Run hypothesis tests to strengthen lending strategy, pricing, and fraud detection
- Communicate findings to senior leadership
- Partner with product and technology teams to put recommendations into practice
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python or SQL
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and derive meaningful insights
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Curiosity about how systems work and motivation to investigate them
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for a startup environment
- Availability to work from the office three days each week
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Availability for the full internship period from 29 June to 7 September 2027
- Expected graduation in 2028
- Confidence writing code in Python or SQL
- University education and degree details must be included in the application
