Lead Engineer, Military Systems Integration — Remote

Lead military systems integration and Windows deployment activities for MicroTech in a remote U.S. role. Direct technical planning, validation, troubleshooting, personnel coordination, and deployment documentation for MEDEX/MEDXS mission environments.

Description

  • Plan and lead technical execution for theater systems integration
  • Coordinate Windows software deployment, configuration, testing, and operational validation
  • Assess system interfaces, dependencies, and readiness for deployment
  • Resolve complex integration problems with engineering and operations teams
  • Maintain technical designs, implementation procedures, configuration records, and deployment documentation
  • Direct systems integration and Windows software deployment for the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission
  • Provide technical leadership for deploying, integrating, and sustaining systems in military theater environments

Requirements

  • Proven experience integrating systems in military theater environments
  • Experience planning and delivering Windows software deployments
  • Ability to convert mission requirements into executable technical work and direct engineering personnel
  • Demonstrated experience managing personnel deployments
  • Experience using the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT)
  • Experience coordinating host-nation theater clearances and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of remaining validity on the first day of contract performance
  • Assigned DCWF role 632: Systems Developer, Intermediate
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • CSSLP, GCLD, GSEC, Microsoft Engineer/Architect certification, or an equivalent credential preferred
  • At least five years of experience for the preferred certification or equivalent qualification
  • Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be completed before independently performing duties involving privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
  • Ready for OCONUS assignment on the first day of performance and throughout the assignment
