Landscape Architect – Toronto Hybrid

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Landscape Architect to design sustainable mobility infrastructure and integrated landscapes. This hybrid role supports transit, environmental, and resource-sector projects in Toronto and North York.

Description

  • Prepare analysis and design reports covering visual assessments, site evaluations, landscape studies, and renderings.
  • Create and assess landscape architecture concepts that follow sustainable development principles and professional standards.
  • Support the technical design of landscape developments by producing plans and specifications.
  • Work with engineering, urban planning, environmental, and other project teams.
  • Coordinate clear communication among stakeholders to help deliver projects successfully.
  • Offer clients and partners technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Help integrate transportation infrastructure into urban, suburban, and rural settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Five to ten years of landscape design experience, preferably on sustainable mobility infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting projects to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Knowledge of public transit, universal accessibility, multimodal transportation, and sustainable site development solutions.
  • Interest in or experience with construction site supervision.
  • Valid ASP Construction card.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Illustrator, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
