Junior Finance Controller - Noida (Hybrid)
Support financial close, group reporting, tax compliance, and finance controls within Contégo’s Connected Retail operations. Coordinate reconciliations, audits, and process improvement activities across multiple entities.
Description
- Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities and deliver timely financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial information for group reporting
- Address Group Finance queries and resolve reporting discrepancies
- Review monthly tax returns and related supporting schedules
- Coordinate statutory compliance activities with local finance teams and external advisers
- Monitor compliance deadlines, deliverables, and unresolved matters
- Assist with P&L and operating expense analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
- Investigate material variances and prepare management reports with supporting commentary
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged, unusual, or unreconciled balances
- Monitor intercompany balances and reconciliations and resolve aged differences
- Work with local finance teams on accounting, reporting, compliance, and control matters
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests and monitor the resolution of findings
- Assist with finance controls, process documentation, compliance, improvement, standardization, automation, and transition work
- Support knowledge transfer and the stabilization of transitioned processes
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, audit, or FP&A
- Solid understanding of month-end close, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Practical exposure to tax, statutory compliance, intercompany accounting, and audit activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with careful attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or comparable systems is an advantage
- Ability to support multiple entities while managing competing deadlines
