Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

  • Enter trade and intercompany vendor invoices in the ERP system
  • Validate purchase orders and invoices against two-, three-, and four-way matching rules, procedures, and internal controls
  • Investigate disputed invoices and gather information to resolve them
  • Help manage shared mailboxes and document repositories
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Handle payable transaction support, including invoice issues, employee expense report checks, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate, high-quality reports
  • Share ideas and influence internal and external customers
  • Work with colleagues at all levels

Requirements

  • Be willing to take on project-based employment
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related accounting field
  • Have at least six months of relevant Finance and Accounting experience, especially in Accounts Payable
  • Have working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Have advanced knowledge of internal controls
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Be willing to accept a 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Accounts Payable experience with an accounting ERP system, preferably Oracle or SAP, is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI and PowerApps is an advantage
