Description

  • Prepare fundraising materials, monitor LP conversations, and draft capital formation communications
  • Write LP updates, meeting recaps, and outreach messages
  • Update the LP pipeline after each meeting
  • Create fund decks, one-pagers, data room materials, and newsletters
  • Develop market maps, thematic research, and investment theses
  • Conduct primary research calls with operators, customers, and industry experts
  • Assist with market sizing, benchmarking, financial analysis, and investment memos
  • Coordinate diligence processes, data requests, and document tracking
  • Keep deal materials, term sheets, and cap tables up to date
  • Convert meetings into accurate written recaps
  • Prepare polished materials for LPs, founders, and co-investors with minimal editing

Requirements

  • Two to three years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, startup operations or strategy, or a founder’s office
  • Hands-on experience with fundraising, investor relations, or LP communications
  • Excellent written English and confidence communicating with senior investors on calls
  • Strong foundation in financial modeling, market sizing, competitive analysis, and accounting fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of term sheets, cap tables, and diligence processes
  • Fluency with Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, and no-code automation tools
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
  • Strong investment judgment, with the ability to develop viewpoints, maintain thorough tracking, and follow work through to completion
  • Discretion with sensitive information, along with directness, honesty, and composure under pressure
  • Availability to check in on weekends and outside standard hours when activity requires it
