Description

  • Generate leads and close new business while meeting opportunity-based sales quotas.
  • Research prospects and reach sales targets by phone, email, and occasional in-person contact.
  • Support outside sales with administrative work and project tasks.
  • Cold-call prospects from external lead sources.
  • Research potential accounts and develop sales opportunities.
  • Call existing clients to encourage higher shipment volumes.
  • Identify decision-makers among target prospects and initiate the sales process.
  • Work with colleagues to plan effective sales approaches.
  • Grow customer accounts to a level suitable for handoff to Business Development Representatives.
  • Maintain and expand prospect and customer records.
  • Meet revenue growth targets.
  • Address and overcome prospective customers’ objections.

Requirements

  • Bring at least three years of sales experience or relevant industry experience.
  • Be self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Have strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Have extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Be located in or near Salt Lake City, Utah, or Phoenix, Arizona.
