Description
- Maintain coverage of US IPOs and direct listings expected to raise at least USD 100 million, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs.
- Use data-driven methods to assess and rank prospective deals.
- Create pre-IPO company tearsheets.
- Perform fundamental analysis of companies before their IPOs.
- Deliver pre-IPO valuation and pricing analysis.
- Write post-IPO trading summaries.
- Prepare previews of post-IPO lock-up expiries.
- Provide high-touch support to selected institutional clients during their first six months.
- Supply pre-deal positioning analysis, market intelligence, positioning context, and book color.
- Develop management-meeting questions and Excel-based financial models.
- Write bespoke notes on pre-IPO or cornerstone investments under NDA.
- Deliver trading insights around post-deal lock-up expiries.
- Provide desk access through email, messaging, and direct calls.
Requirements
- At least five years of extensive research or investment experience serving institutional clients.
- Established experience and professional network in US equity capital markets.
- Proven ability to write investment research.
- Capability to work as a senior analyst or as part of an analyst team.
