Human Resources Intern (Remote, California)
Support recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and intern operations for Our National Conversation’s nonprofit team. This remote internship involves collaboration through Zoom and Slack.
Description
- Review applicants and assess their fit for available opportunities
- Arrange and manage interview scheduling
- Support onboarding and offboarding for interns and volunteers
- Keep HR records, forms, and related documentation organized
- Contribute to additional HR projects aligned with your interests
- Partner with the HR Team Lead and Director of Human Resources while managing independent work
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline
- Hands-on familiarity with HR activities such as developing training plans, conducting interviews, or compiling employee information
- Google Workspace proficiency is preferred
- Able to handle confidential information responsibly
- Authorized to complete an internship in the United States
- Preferred availability of at least 10 hours per week for six months
- Available to join at least one 30–40-minute meeting each week
- Comfortable coordinating remotely and maintaining consistent communication
