Description

  • Lead Trade Nation’s AI strategy from identifying opportunities through deployment, adoption, and realized value.
  • Rework business workflows around practical AI outcomes instead of tool adoption alone.
  • Build organizational AI capability through training, prompt libraries, templates, and an AI champions network.
  • Track and communicate AI adoption, performance measures, and lessons learned.
  • Own the data warehouse’s business-facing gold layer, including metrics, definitions, and quality standards.
  • Expand and maintain the semantic data model to provide consistent, trusted access to business information.
  • Promote data self-service so teams can answer business questions efficiently.
  • Define and uphold analytics engineering standards covering testing, version control, documentation, and code review.
  • Streamline the data estate and improve its overall quality.
  • Provide senior leaders with proactive analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer, manage Data Analysts, and collaborate with Data Engineering, Compliance, and senior business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Data, Analytics, or AI.
  • A record of implementing AI solutions that reshaped workflows and produced measurable business results.
  • Experience taking projects from initial concept through production delivery and user adoption.
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and analytics engineering.
  • Experience using dbt or a comparable version-controlled transformation framework.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse architecture and semantic modeling.
  • Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or a similar cloud data platform.
  • Professional background in financial services, trading, brokerage, or capital markets.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing analytics teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CFD, spread betting, or brokerage platforms.
  • Knowledge of trading systems and back-office financial-services data structures.
  • Experience operating across multiple entities and regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks such as MiFID II, MiFIR, or ASIC requirements.
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in regulated financial-services settings.
  • Curiosity about business operations and a willingness to understand commercial processes before proposing solutions.
  • A strategic approach combined with practical, delivery-oriented execution.
  • A proactive self-starter who spots opportunities and leads change.
  • Confidence to question established practices and engage constructively when challenged.
  • Enthusiasm for helping others use data and technology effectively.
