GPU Design Verification Engineer – Intel, Hybrid in Santa Clara

Validate Intel GPU designs spanning 3D graphics, media, and display. Build SystemVerilog and UVM test environments while diagnosing pre-silicon issues.

Description

  • Verify graphics logic across 3D graphics, media, and display components
  • Create scalable, reusable IP verification plans, test benches, and verification-environment architectures
  • Run verification plans and system simulations to validate designs, assess power and timing, and identify defects
  • Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues in pre-silicon environments
  • Develop and apply corrective actions for failing tests
  • Partner with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams
  • Prepare test-plan documentation and lead technical reviews with design and architecture teams
  • Enhance functional verification infrastructure and methodology
  • Help define verification infrastructure and associated TFMs for functional design verification

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer engineering, or a related engineering field plus 5 or more years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 4 or more years of experience
  • Experience bringing up IP-level test benches
  • Strong SystemVerilog and UVM programming skills
  • Practical verification experience with ASIC, CPU, or GPU projects
  • Experience developing IP-level test plans and closing coverage
  • Background in coverage-driven verification, functional modeling, testbench development, and test creation
  • Understanding of graphics architecture
  • Experience with industry-standard front-end design and verification flows, tools, and methodologies
  • Scripting experience with shell, Perl, and Python
