Description

  • Take features from problem discovery through architecture, implementation, release, and follow-up fixes
  • Contribute across the frontend, backend, and the layers between them
  • Make and justify technical choices, including library selection and feature architecture
  • Integrate AI services into reliable systems that handle probabilistic outputs
  • Develop live functionality using WebSocket-based capabilities
  • Deliver desktop and mobile software through Electron and React Native applications
  • Develop Electron main and renderer processes, native OS integrations, auto-updates, and offline-first behavior
  • Move rapidly through continuous deployment and short development cycles
  • Maintain design controls and traceable test evidence for functionality subject to the EU MDR
  • Identify tickets proactively and deliver them through completion

Requirements

  • More than five years of experience is typically expected
  • Strong experience developing full-stack software
  • Advanced React and TypeScript skills
  • Backend expertise covering API design, data modelling, relational databases, and asynchronous or background processing
  • Experience delivering and operating both frontend and backend functionality
  • Track record of shipping software to real users and supporting it in production
  • Strong debugging skills across the entire stack
  • Ability to work autonomously, identify priorities, make decisions, and deliver independently
  • Empathy for therapists and genuine interest in understanding their work
  • Clear written English and confidence working asynchronously
  • Experience engineering LLM applications, including evaluation, prompt pipelines, agent tooling, and latency and cost optimization
  • Experience with Electron or another desktop platform, including distribution, code signing, and auto-update processes
  • React Native experience, including App Store and Play Store publishing
  • Experience with audio processing, transcription, or other real-time media
  • Experience in healthcare, GDPR-intensive, or other regulated environments
  • German proficiency, as users, documentation, and support discussions are in German
  • High standards and strong motivation
  • Strong autonomy, ambition, initiative, and curiosity about the domain
