Description

  • Help lead frontend development for the Vergent platform by translating designs and requirements into polished, responsive interfaces
  • Work with Development and Product to enhance UI quality, usability, and the platform’s overall user experience
  • Manage the development, maintenance, and continued improvement of Vergent’s WordPress website
  • Create and update responsive pages, landing pages, and custom functionality in partnership with Marketing
  • Find ways to strengthen usability, consistency, and visual design across the product and website
  • Resolve frontend and WordPress issues while supporting website performance
  • Guide projects from initial concept through implementation, collaborating with Development, Product, and Marketing to deliver them

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing with WordPress
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • A track record of creating responsive, intuitive user interfaces
  • Solid knowledge of UI and UX principles
  • Careful attention to detail and visual consistency
  • Ability to independently carry projects from concept to implementation
  • Experience with WordPress custom themes and PHP is preferred
  • Candidates who lack custom-theme and PHP experience should be prepared to take ownership of WordPress within their first few months
  • Experience contributing to a SaaS product is preferred
  • Design judgment strong enough to refine and improve provided concepts
