Financial Analyst at Vynca — Denver, CO Hybrid

Junior Financial Analyst supporting FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis at Vynca’s healthcare organization in a hybrid Denver role.

Description

  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, recurring analyses, monthly variance reviews, and KPI tracking
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic forecasting updates
  • Compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts, explaining significant variance drivers
  • Work with department leaders to understand financial needs and deliver timely, accurate insights
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting templates in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Support month-end close activities and complete ad hoc financial analyses
  • Recommend improvements to reporting workflows and data quality
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues and business partners across departments
  • Contribute financial insights that support decision-making at Vynca, which provides comprehensive care for people with complex needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline
  • 0–1 year of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related area
  • Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, formulas, and basic financial modeling
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to handling financial data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make financial concepts understandable to non-finance stakeholders
  • Curious, proactive approach with a willingness to ask questions
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • Availability to work on-site in Denver, Colorado, when required
  • Influenza vaccination for patient-, client-, or customer-facing positions
  • Preferred: finance or accounting internship experience
  • Preferred: experience or exposure in healthcare or health technology
  • Preferred: coursework or experience in financial modeling or budgeting
