Finance Business Systems Analyst

Modernize finance systems and reporting at NFI, a global bus manufacturer. Improve automation and support enterprise finance transformation across Oracle EPM and EBS platforms.

Description

  • Partner with Finance, Tax, ITS, and business teams to improve financial processes, reporting, and system capabilities.
  • Assess business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend technology solutions.
  • Translate business needs into scalable process and system enhancements.
  • Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage and optimize enterprise finance systems, including Oracle EPM applications where relevant.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation, reconciliation, and tax processes.
  • Guide requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, user acceptance, change management, and post-launch support.
  • Advance automation, analytics, AI, reporting, and process standardization.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and best-practice resources.
  • Build cross-organizational relationships and provide project leadership and stakeholder support.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • A CPA designation or progress toward one is an asset.
  • Bring 3–7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, finance systems, ERP systems, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Understand financial and accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, and Tax.
  • Have supported system implementations, enhancements, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Have experience with ERP, EPM, or other enterprise finance systems; Oracle EPM experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence, analytics, automation, or AI initiatives is an asset.
  • Bring project management experience and the ability to balance priorities and deliver outcomes.
  • Show an interest in continuous improvement and applying technology to business challenges.
