Description

  • Oversee outsourced accounting services and financial reporting across multiple client engagements
  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members
  • Direct client onboarding, including system configuration, project planning, and process implementation
  • Review management reporting packages, financial statements, reconciliations, and other client deliverables
  • Advise clients on budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and management reporting
  • Track engagement performance, resource utilization, work in progress, and client satisfaction
  • Work with clients and internal teams to improve processes and introduce technology-enabled efficiencies
  • Coordinate multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality, timeliness, and strong client service
  • Assist with new accounting technology implementations and special projects as needed
  • Act as a trusted advisor on accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience in a public accounting firm
  • Experience delivering outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory, or controllership services to multiple clients
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Experience leading and developing accounting professionals, including remote and offshore team members
  • Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management abilities
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at solving problems
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required
  • Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship for this position
