Field Service Technician - Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)

Field Service Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining Crown and other manufacturers' lift trucks in Colorado Springs. The role includes customer equipment service, van inventory management, and post-job documentation.

Description

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Crown and other manufacturers' lift trucks
  • Complete all assigned preventive maintenance on customer lift trucks
  • Manage the service van and maintain its inventory
  • Complete and submit paperwork after each service job

Requirements

  • Up to two years of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver's license, strong driving record, and safe lift-truck operating ability
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines
  • Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Effective written and verbal communication, with strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with standard hand tools, electrical and air tools, torches, arc welders, and testing equipment
  • Ability to read service manuals, plan work, and follow through to completion
  • A technical degree, prior lift-truck repair experience, welding experience, and industry training are preferred
