Field Service Engineer – United Kingdom (Remote)

Maintain and repair TOMRA reverse vending machines at customer sites across the UK. Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service equipment supporting the expansion of recycling infrastructure.

Description

  • Install, service, and repair TOMRA reverse vending machines at customer locations
  • Assist with installing, commissioning, and deploying new machines throughout the UK
  • Identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and responsive repairs
  • Develop effective working relationships with customers and site contacts
  • Travel across the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays
  • Log service work, machine conditions, and updates in digital systems
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing operational feedback
  • Comply with TOMRA Safe and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Promote a positive customer experience while keeping equipment safe and dependable

Requirements

  • Approach problems with curiosity, practical thinking, and close attention to detail
  • Prioritise customer needs and communicate clearly and confidently
  • Have a foundation in electromechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment
  • Work effectively both independently and within a supportive team
  • Be able to travel and organise your own schedule in a field-based position
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be available for occasional approved overtime and weekend work
  • Participate in rota-based weekend coverage from October 2027
