Description

  • Interpret consecutively, primarily in medical settings
  • Support interpretation for social services, customer care, and financial clients
  • Preserve impartiality and confidentiality in every interaction
  • Begin with over-the-phone interpretation, with a pathway to video remote interpretation
  • Meet the monthly minimum for interpreted minutes

Requirements

  • At least 6–12 months of experience in remote medical interpretation
  • C1-level English, demonstrated through EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE
  • Preferred: ALTA score of 9+ or LanguageStat/PICSI score of 75%–80%+, earned within the past 12 months
  • Strong command of medical and customer service terminology
  • HIPAA and FWA certifications, or willingness to obtain them
  • Clear background check
  • Wired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not accepted
  • USB noise-canceling headset
  • Windows 10 or later with at least 4 GB of RAM
  • Private, quiet workspace
